Darlene is a woman I can relate to. We grew up together…..we played together…..we learned about the life of being native off-reserve together. As young women she went on to become a psychiatric nurse and had a world of experiences, while I moved away and had my own. Today we reconnect as she runs for Chief of Nipissing First Nation. I feel so proud…..I feel so excited for her and hope only the best in her run as chief for Nipissing. The only way I know to promote her is through images so here you go:
